The cost, and the guilt of spending it on yourself

The conversation most women have with themselves privately, and rarely out loud.

What does a women's retreat in Israel cost?

It varies by accommodation option, and current prices are listed on the retreat page rather than quoted here so you're never working from stale figures. What's worth comparing is what's included — a lower headline price with meals excluded frequently ends up higher once you've eaten for three days.

What's included in the price?

Accommodation, every meal from the arrival dinner through to the closing breakfast, the morning movement sessions, the workshops and activities, and a welcome amenity kit. Linens, towels and basic toiletries are provided. In practice, once you've arrived you shouldn't need to spend anything further.

Do I have to pay the whole thing upfront?

No. You can secure your place with a deposit at registration, and the remaining balance isn't due until the end of the retreat. You can also pay in full at registration if you'd rather have it done. Both options are offered at checkout.

The balance is really only due at the end?

Yes — at the end of the retreat, not before it. It's unusual, and it's deliberate: it means you're not paying the bulk of it while you're still deciding whether it was worth it. The deposit holds your place and the rest follows afterwards.

Can I pay in dollars?

Yes. Card payments can be made in either shekels or dollars — you choose the currency on the payment page, and the rate is quoted and fixed for that payment. Pricing and balances are accounted for in shekels.

I feel guilty spending this on myself.

Almost every woman says so. One reframe that tends to land: work out what you spend annually on things that keep the household running smoothly, then notice that you are also infrastructure. Nobody calls the boiler service self-indulgent. Whether it's affordable is a fair question — whether you're worth it isn't.

Can my husband give it as a gift?

Yes, and it's a common way it happens — often for a birthday or anniversary, and often because he's noticed the state you're in before you've admitted it. If that's easier than deciding to spend it on yourself, it's a perfectly good route in.

What if I need to cancel?

The cancellation terms, including the refund windows, are set out in full on the terms page — read them before you book rather than relying on a summary. If your circumstances are unusual or something has changed, contact us directly and we'll talk it through.

Is it worth the money?

That depends entirely on where you're starting from. If you're moderately tired and generally coping, probably not — take a quiet weekend. If you've been running on empty for a year or more and can't remember the last unclaimed day you had, the women in that position are the ones who say it was.
